I'm not allowed to write about Penny having good sleeping nights ever again. Kevin said if I did, he'd pinch me.
Yeah, she is still having ups and downs. ;)

Rumor on the street is that ups and downs last until age 5. Then I figure you get a couple of years of decent sleep and then it starts over only you're up cause they not home and instead of having them wake you up early, you have to drag them out of bed.... makes me look at my parents sometimes and wonder how they survived us! :)

So true! I've heard everyone always say how being a mom is the hardest thing they've ever done. I had no idea! But now I'm noticing how often people say that raising teenagers is the hardest thing they've ever done. I'm sure I have no idea!

It seems like everytime I think I have Samuel figured out he goes through ups and downs, but I think that if you are persistent...with trying out the hit and miss stuff...it will get better. Definitely listen to the spirit and to the magical instincts that Penny is speaking to.

oh, and don't forget to set your alarm, because she will decide to sleep in on the day it is most important that you wake up on time.

Yeah, it's hard, but isn't it sooooo awesome too?! In a couple of weeks you will be lying awake in bed wishing that you could cuddle with Penny, but that would wake her up... ;-)
