Sunbonnet Lou

It was sunny enough this afternoon that Penny needed a sun-hat. I had just the thing! When Penny was born, my freshman roommate, Ashley, sent us a cute yellow sunbonnet, and today we took it on a test-drive. Verdict: I love it! Besides being cute and yellow, it is also adjustable in size (all bonnets are, but I didn't realize it until today) and shades her eyes while still letting her look around.
Now we'll just have to keep up this sunny weather!
Update: Penny started making a squeaky kissing noise today. :)

For a moment I thought it was one of mama's bonnets. We would always borrow one of her beautiful hats for bahii! She looks so cute!

She looks so adorable in her sunbonnet! I love that you can go for walks. I run in the dessert about 3 times a week, and although I don't see anything really cool like you do-I still like being outside. I think that it's so neat that you can see so much-I've never seen a bald eagle except for at the zoo, and I'm sure it's not quite the same. We take bike rides too-those are always fun but we never go very far because Charley gets tired.

Great hat....love the wide brim! Unfortunately boys' hats are NOT adjustable, which is a problem when your child has a monster head. :)
