Vacation!

Today is my last official day of vacation. I realize I don't start work until Monday, but tomorrow's the weekend, and I get every weekend off. Therefore, not vacation.
This morning I slept in until like 9:30. I tried to get up before then, but Kevin came and snuggled with me. So I fell back asleep. A while later I tried to get up again, but Toby came to purr and snuggle on my shoulder and head. I couldn't get up then either!
It reminds me of the movie we watched last night: "First we'll make snow angels for two hours, then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse cookie dough as fast as we can, and then we'll snuggle."
I love Christmas, and I'm sad to see it go. Maybe I'll be just that much more excited for it next year!

Chelsea, do you know that you're the luckiest girl to have a husband and cats to snuggle with? Your post made me very happy and not the least bit jealous (ha!). I can't wait to come back to TGT this coming week. I'm going to bring a girl from my ward, so I'm pretty excited.

Wow, we were so close to each other over the holidays and didn't even know it! Where do your in-laws live in the Seattle area? We were in Duvall, northeast of Seattle. We talked about going to the aquarium and the Pacific Science Center, but settled for Chuckie Cheeses instead! A little lame, I know.

And how about that snow!? Wasn't it amazing! I was in absolute heaven, although I can see how some of the locals were freaking out about it, I heard one even refer to it as "what plagued us over Christmas!" To each his own. ;)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I know the movie quote! It's ELF! And I knew the last one too, this because I have watched that movie many many times, yes-we've hit a princess stage.

I hate coming back to work... It's like I've left my real world to come mark time in my fake world until I get to go back to the real world of my family. Probably not the most healthy of situations, but that's the way it is.

I need some cats to snuggle with.

Happy New Year!
