Chelsea's Sewing School

Yesterday some of my friends came over for a first-ever sewing class. It was the first one they'd ever taken, and the first one I've ever taught.
Success: cutting straight lines with a rotary cutter and not losing any fingers!

You might think I asked them to pose for this picture, but they were just smiling away, even without my telling them to. Sewing is fun!

Using a sewing machine!
Ironing a hem

It's hard work to concentrate this hard.

Shanshan modeling the finished product: a new nursing cover!

I'm helping a YW in our ward make her homecoming dress, and it has been a lot of fun...except the zipper...
