A little while ago, we had dinner with some Chinese friends, one of whom is a retired art professor. While we were there and Penny was running around, he managed to sketch this little drawing of her. A few days later, Kevin brought this home from work, framed and beautiful.
I love the little butterfly drawn below her (since she was wearing a shirt with butterflies all over it), and I love the inscription that lends such a Chinese look to a simple drawing. It says, Penny little angel/ Shenyang, China/ Mr. Liu/ and then the date.
