Up until a week ago, Penny didn't know that when we sang to her, she was supposed to sing along. She would do the hand motions, but nary a sound escaped her lips. Then in nursery at church, one of her older friends sang along with the teachers in class. That must have been eye-opening for Penny, because ever since then, she has been doing her darndest to sing along with me.
We had to trick Penny into singing for this video. We sang one of her songs super-fast, and while she was distracted by that, Kevin started the camera. Otherwise, I would be presenting one of our usual videos, which has about .4 seconds of something cute, then several more of Penny trying to get behind the camera to see what we're doing. Yay for sneakiness!

This is stinkin' adorable! You can tell that she really is singing and not just copying your sounds because she is ahead of you at times. And I also like that you can hear Kevin laughing in the background!
