Trees

We saw the trees on Tuesday.

When Kevin came home, I'd already packed a picnic dinner, and we took it down to the Washington Monument area to eat. I love that Penny has more room to run around, especially after a double-whammy of being winter AND in a city where it is too cold and too urban to let a toddler run around. We're getting out more, and it makes me happy.
And look, I was there too:

Love the blossoming trees, especially in Washington, D.C.! They remind me of all those youth temple trips. :)

The trees are blooming here in Seattle so although I missed them in Vegas, at least I got to see the beginnings of spring here. I saw the trees when I was young but don't remember it. But I've seen pictures! Lovely.

those are some beautiful trees. Is there a place to eat a picnic? I thought it was just a reflecting pool and the trees and sidewalks... at least thats all I remember but I was 4 or 5 at the time.

"I looked out the window and what did I see? Popcorn popping on the apricot tree!"
