Pics and stats

And my personal favorite:

This week on Tuesday, Penny is two weeks old! This means we went to the doctor to find out how she's doing.
She's doing great, of course. When we left the hospital, she was 6 lbs 14 oz, and on Tuesday she was 8 lbs 9 oz. That's a gain of 1 lb 11 0z! I knew she'd grown, but wow! And she grew a whole inch. I don't think I've grown a whole inch in 2 weeks since I was 11. :)
Anyway, this puts her at 75 percentile for both height and weight. And that makes me happy. I suppose whatever she turned out to be, it would make me happy. I'm just easily pleased.
They pricked her heel to draw some blood, and she screamed as if it were the most painful thing she'd ever experienced-- which it may have been. And that made me kind of giggle.
In my defense, it was the kind of uncomfortable giggle where you know you should have SOME reaction, so you choose to laugh. Yes, I'm that terrible. ;)
And this is what I get to look at all day, my role models. It's a wonder I get anything done! Oh wait....

She's so pretty. Congratulations. And I hope you're following their example and taking plenty of naps. Soon she'll be awake all the time and you'll wish you could nap!

babies look pretty gender neutral for awhile, but she is sure pretty in that sleeping one with her mouth in a little rosebud pucker. Cute!

What a cutie! Now you know why I nap so much. One baby after another and I always have something cute to snuggle up to. Miss you girl. Thanks for the grocery update. I am trying to find a good one here in Temple.

Oh Chelsea, she is just beautiful! I love that picture of her sleeping/smiling. I'm also so impressed by how much she's grown, that is wonderful. Keep up the good work!
