Last night Penny only woke me up a couple times, and then I got a nap before our 12:00 church. I expected to feel pretty great. I did not.
During the last hour, I just felt worse and worse. I got home and tried to sleep but didn't feel good until Kevin brought me a brownie and some ibuprofen. Wonderful stuff.
Anyway, but I was noticing that no matter how tired and sore I was, and no matter how incredulous I was that she needed to eat (AGAIN!), I still love seeing my little girl. I still think she's beautiful. I still love to hold her, even when my whole body hurts (although I do wish it didn't hurt).
I guess it must be love. :)

Stuff I wouldn't mind getting for Christmas
- Twin-sized sheet sets for Penny and Naomi (matching? flowered or something pretty, not characters)
- Scrapbook pages
- Fun refrigerator magnets
- Fisher Price Little People Pirate Ship (for Penny.... though I would play with it too.)
- Cute Stationary-- I currently write letters on notebook paper ripped from the notebook
- Boy toys for William, age 9 months-18 months or so

Yes, it must be! I must say I'm not happy that you are hurting, but I am a little relieved...you were out and about so much right away and I was barely able to hobble to the end of our block at the end of the second week home. (No joke!) I was beginning to wonder what was wrong with me. Enjoy that ibuprofen! You can take 4 every 8 hours and be totally fine. That's the prescription strength dosage. You know what else is great? Percocet! If only they would have let me take some home! :) Wow, now I sound like a pain pill addict, huh? I'm not...I SWEAR!
Remind me never to have a baby :-)
Sounds like ur doing great. Next time have some chocolate syrup with the brownies. I think that helps just as much as the brownies!
Just know it will get better, not as soon as you might like and hope but it will. You are doing great, just keep going and rest when she rests. And take it easy so your body can recover and adjust.
I got to take Percocet home! Of course, the tearing that warranted the prescription isn't advised, but it is pretty good stuff. Nearly 3 weeks out, I'm almost not sore at all any more...hopefully you'll feel much better soon, too!
Penny is beautiful...I can totally see how she brightens your day.
