Kevin got me a new computer today. But it is really just a hand-me-down, because he got himself a new one. I think that's how it will be in our family, because I don't really care pr remember to get a new one. On my current laptop, it is super slow and the fan only works sporadically, so I have to give rescue breaths in the vents when it starts to overheat. But I'm still using it even so, since I haven't taken the time to transfer my files and stuff over.
Kevin was super excited for his new computer. He (and therefore we) knew when it had left the warehouse, how long it was in Las Vegas, Salt Lake, and then when it would arrive here. Online package tracking is a blessing... and a curse. :)

Stuff I wouldn't mind getting for Christmas
- Twin-sized sheet sets for Penny and Naomi (matching? flowered or something pretty, not characters)
- Scrapbook pages
- Fun refrigerator magnets
- Fisher Price Little People Pirate Ship (for Penny.... though I would play with it too.)
- Cute Stationary-- I currently write letters on notebook paper ripped from the notebook
- Boy toys for William, age 9 months-18 months or so

If only you knew how well I can relate to this...not just the package tracking (which we had to do with my wedding ring because it got there the day before my wedding), but Evan has been researching and gearing up to buy his new computer since February. I'm so over it and it isn't even here yet :)
The computer hand me down chain is a good deal. It's how both my sisters and Clint & I all got our laptops. My Dad gets new ones and we get the old ones. It works.
I love ur "rescue breaths". In my case of getting a new computer, I had my brother Jared tracking it for me.
It appears everyone needs one of those. Of course, I'm a big tracker of books I buy for myself.. and sometimes others :-)
We too can relate. We kept wishing and hoping that our computer would somehow miraculously arrive prior to it's scheduled time. I think that if I got a new computer more often than every 5 or 6 years the novelty of it would wear off though.
I will take some pics for you. It's really nice up here on the mountain. Much cooler than around the beach. Hope you and Penny are having a good time. Especially with breastfeeding! With Mosiah it took 4mo. for me to finally feel comfortable with it. I almost gave up.
Well, I must confess that I'm a little wickedly pleased that you posted about feeling crappy...;) You were just sounding WAY too upbeat for just having had a new baby! I felt like I was going to die for the first 3 weeks Halle was alive. ;) Granted I was all alone for the first week with all three kids because Scott was working like a madman as usual...and then I had a nasty sinus infection...and then she went into the hospital.... Yes, it is definitely love! I'm glad you're human Chels!
Chelsea! I just linked into your blog through Sarah's and SHE IS SO DANG CUTE!!!! I felt so out of the loop when no one told me you had your baby. Funnest. I miss you and two good things!
