Photography has never been my thing. I guess I'm okay with that. At least I now have a zoom, so at least I get my subject in the picture, more or less. I used to have all these pictures with some tiny thing in the middle, super far away, and I'd have to just remember what it looked like.
So here are a few pictures.
In this one we have Penny in her swing. I think 75% of my pictures of her are in her swing. That's where she usually is when I have two free hands and a camera within reach. Good thing it's a cute swing. I just thought she looked particularly beautiful in this one:

Whenever Penny's asleep, it's a great time for me to catch some Zzs or just get a few things done in my life. However, it's also the time when she's the most snuggly and sweet to hold. It's hard to put her down.

I couldn't decide if, in this next picture, she looked more like the Statue of Liberty or one of the Quintessential Socialist sculptures I've seen. Hee hee, either way.

Lol, Chelsea! You're hilarious. My vote is the Statue of Liberty.
That is a cute picture in the swing.
Definitely Lady Liberty. Just dress her in green next time and put a gourd in one hand and a bible in the other, and it'll be an exact replica!
By the way, that's exciting about the foreign service decision! My sister's husband Evan is doing that now-- it is VERY rigorous and hard to get in (my sister tried to as well, but failed the test twice), but once you're in it's really fun. All of Evan's co-workers are very bright, kind, opinionated, and they love traveling the world. We are currently at their house in Slovenia (we fly back to the US tomorrow) and we just got back from a morning hiking the Alps! This is their second post-- their first was in Ghana. They're actually getting out of it after this though (next August)-- Evan wants to get his PhD and be a professor, and also they want a little more stability for their children. (5, 3, and 1 year old.) But they've really enjoyed it and they've learned a lot. Good luck with the process!
Socialist Sculpture all the way. Love it!
You obviously love ur baby! She's gonna grow up so self adjusted.
Or spoiled rotten. But I guess a few brothers and sisters will fix that one.
Cute girl!
Cute! Cute! Cute!
Most of Samuel's pictures are in his bouncer, for the same reason.
Chels you are an amazing photographer :0~

Wow, my white friend had a chinese baby! She's definately daddy's girl.
Kevin! She looks more and more like you!! The picture of her sleeping on the bottom of the post... Just like a little sleeping Kevin, but only female. Lots of love, Ryan
