I may be one of the biggest hypocrites in the blog world. That is, I check everyone's blogs all the time and get kind of frustrated when they never post anything new. But then I never post anything. This has been almost two weeks, and I am SO SORRY!
I just found out that my kitchen is possessed. Kind of scary, really.
As I was sitting in the living room doing absolutely nothing, I heard some trickling start in the kitchen. I thought it might be some dishes in the sink, so I didn't worry. But then a couple seconds later, the cat runs in there to check it out. So it must be something weird.
Yup.
It was detergent dripping all over the floor of the laundry room.
Grr... it turns out today will be a wonderful day to wash some rags, just after I finished using them to wipe up all the soap on the floor.
Maybe it's also a sign that I should clean the floor of the laundry room, especially where it probably leaked underneath the washer where I can't reach it.
Naaah! Just a load of laundry.
I watched a part of Jay Leno the other day where there was this 102-year-old lady on. Jay asked her what was the biggest change she's seen in her lifetime. What do you think she cited?
Was it cars, telephones, computers? Was it medical advancements like vaccines or penicillin? Nope.
The biggest change she'd noticed was the eradication of washing days. Back in the day she'd had to spend a whole day washing the clothes and stuff, where now you just toss it in a machine and then toss it in the next machine to dry.
We have it pretty good.
