You know you've been in China too long when...
This morning Penny was digging through Kevin's desk and emptying the contents onto the floor. But she's a good little girl-- and probably a little OCD-- and put everything back in. The last item was a 2-inch-long white eraser, the kind you might find in a mechanical pencil. She squatted down on her heels and proceeded to smoke it like a cigarette.

The squatting down detail has me cracking up! Now when she rolls up her shirt and tucks it under her armpits with the belly hanging out -- that's when it's time to head outta Dodge!
I just laughed and laughed at this post. Look out for what Nomads by Nature said, but also pooping in public and spitting in the middle of the street! :) I just linked this post from my blog I loved it so much.
Haha...so funny! Love all your stories. They bring back good memories for us. Not too long after being in China Momo smoked a sucker stick...that was a little bit shocking, but expected after I thought about it. :)
I'm with everyone else, laughing pretty hard here. And I now have my "signs that your kids need to take an R&R" list!

Yeah, at least she hasn't pooped on the sidewalk yet! I think you'd better reconsider your career location if she does that...
